You may well be wondering why a website called WebGnuru would have a section on Windows. While I do focus mainly on open source solutions to IT opportunities, WebGnuru is a resource for all solutions, and Microsoft products are a big part of many companies infrastructure. This part of WebGnuru will provide How To's on some solutions to challenges encountered while working with Windows.

I have a mixture of Windows and Linux in my domain; a Windows Small Business Server acts as domain controller and Exchange email server, while I have Slackware servers for web servers, print servers, file servers, and backup repositories. The users all have workstations with either Windows XP or Windows 7 as the OS. While the section is entitled "Windows", it will contain articles on all Microsoft products, not just operating systems.
